Did you know that 70% of tourism in Zurich is business-related?

As big scale events such as meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences, exhibitions (MICE) are highly resource intensive, managing their environmental impact often requires the responsible implementation of sustainability criteria in the event organisation process.

Have you ever attended a conference or event and wished it was more sustainable? How are such events organized in your own company? Every week, hundreds of MICE events are being organised, therefore we must start to think about the following questions.

  • How can companies reduce their footprints of their MICE events?
  • How can event organisers convince potential customers to choose sustainability implementation?
  • How can host cities make themselves more attractive by providing exciting sustainable options to companies and business travellers?
  • How can end users, not involved in the event organization drive this issue in their company?

Join us for an informative Breakfast addressing these questions with guest speakers Uta Kroll, Head of the convention bureau of Zürich Tourism and Frank Marreau, Managing Director of MCI Switzerland.
