Energy Now! 2.0 is an Impact Accelerator from ETH that has been empowering student groups to immerse themselves in these real-world energy challenges. The students have been crafting innovative solutions under the guidance of mentors from leading industry partners such as Swissgrid, BKW, vbz, Siemens, Ahoy-Hoy, ShareP Tiko and ewz.

Challenges will include:

• Visualizing energy flexibility for different stakeholders 
• Energy savings tool for public transport
• Opportunity costs of ancillary services in Switzerland
• Billing problem of bidirectional EV-Charging

Highlights of the evening:

• Keynote by Dr. Christian Schaffner, Executive Director of the Energy Science Center at ETH Zurich.
• Keynote by Dr. Marina Gonzalez Vaya, Head of New Technology at Elektrizitätswerke des Kantons Zürich (EKZ).
• Learn about the challenges of the transition and how students think we can address them.
• An opportunity for you to participate in the “People’s Choice” award, where you get to cast your vote for the most promising idea.
