Meet the GreenBuzz Zurich Volunteer Team!
We are proud to have a great and diverse team of sustainability professionals supporting our activities with their expert knowledge.
Meet Robin Weisser, our Impact Measurement Lead. Robin studies political sciences at the University of Zurich. After being a part of the operational team in 2020, he now supports GreenBuzz with impact measurement and monitoring as a volunteer.
Why did you choose to join the GreenBuzz Zurich team and what role do you play within the organisation?
I started with GreenBuzz as an intern. During my internship I started to implement an impact measurement project which I later finalized as a Project Lead. I am now part of the volunteer team to keep supporting GreenBuzz with its impact measurement and monitoring.
In your opinion, what do you see as the biggest challenge for sustainability within your industry?
In the field of sustainability impact is key for every organization. Especially for a non profit organization due to its tight budget and resources. That is why we implemented the impact measurement project. We want to use our resources and energy where it has the most impact for sustainability.
In the project we collected and analyzed both qualitative and quantitative data. We conducted a broad community analysis, a survey and interviews. We all agreed that in order to have a sustainable database we have to keep monitoring the organization’s impact. That’s why we keep monitoring our impact, implementing suggestions from feedback and analyzing how they affect our impact.
