Meet Barbara Truyers, our Global Community Builder. Barbara supports GreenBuzz to expand the existing network to a global one and to establish a strategic structure for GreenBuzz Global.
Why did you choose to join the GreenBuzz Zurich team and what role do you play within the organisation?
When I first started joining GreenBuzz events, the enthusiasm and the always exciting topics have inspired me to join the volunteer team. I’m supporting GB to further roll out the existing GreenBuzz community and to make sure we really turn GreenBuzz Global, global.
In your opinion, what do you see as the biggest challenge for sustainability within your industry?
The biggest challenge I see, working at myclimate, is that we don’t have enough time left or we are not moving fast enough for the remaining time we have to stop climate change.
And on a more optimistic note, what is a positive development within your industry with regards to sustainability (either a solution to the above-mentioned challenge or a future outlook towards positive change)?
The good news is: Climate change is on the agenda of sooo many people and companies and I am hopeful this will continue to rise and will lead to innovation, climate friendly solutions across sectors and a new, improved and sustainable world for all of us.
