Does your organization want to shift towards more climate-friendly solutions, products, services, practices & operations but struggles with prioritizing where to start?
Then join us for our unconference about prioritizing organizations’ measures to tackle climate change.
Awareness about climate change is at an all-time high & more and more organizations realize they have many opportunities to change in order to be a sustainable business in the long term. However, changing is easier said than done. There is a flood of information (sometimes contradicting) about what we can do to tackle climate change, and it can be difficult to make sense of it all, to prioritize, to mitigate risks and ultimately to decide which actions to start with; this is especially the case for organizations with complex systems like value chains, supply chains, logistics, etc.
The most comprehensive attempt to untangle the information about how to tackle climate change is the Project Drawdown; an international research organization, founded in 2014 by environmentalist Paul Hawken. Project Drawdown reviews, analyses, and identifies the most viable global climate change solutions and shares these findings openly with the world.
As a thought leader and communicator, Project Drawdown is shifting the global conversation about climate change from “doom and gloom” defeatism to one of impact, opportunity, action and empowerment.
In this unconference, we want to discuss the potential of using Project Drawdown’s list of ‘climate change solutions’ in order to kick-start your organization’s journey to becoming more climate-friendly.
Speakers
– Stephen Neff, CEO at myclimate
– Martina Hartmann, South Pole
– Bastien Girod, South Pole, ETH Zurich, Member of Federal Parliament
The unconference will be convened by Marcus Williams & Renée LaPlante. But you, as the participants, will play the main role in this open-space event and ultimately decide what topics are discussed. There will be some pre-reading we will send in advance.
Join us on the 28th of April online and be part of this vital conversation.
