Together, let’s explore new ways of convening, networking, learning, socialising etc.! We are happy to talk to you in case you have concerns or questions!
Learn how culture and your own blind spots towards yourself and others are created and how they affect you and others in your professional life. Take concrete steps to integrate intercultural awareness and mindful self-leadership into your diversity & inclusion strategies, communication outputs, and activations.
Sustainability leaders play an important role in achieving the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). SDG 10 concerns reducing inequalities, meaning “the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.”
We all interact with a multitude of cultural and social groups on a daily basis. But while businesses with diverse teams have been shown to outperform those with homogenous teams, diversity may also bring conflicts.
Why is this so? The increased exposure to diverse cultures and voices through globalization and the digital revolution has happened so fast that we are often ill-equipped to use the potential that this global culture change is bringing about.
Diversity is inextricably linked to culture. However, culture is much more than meets the eye. It often plays on an entirely subconscious level and goes far beyond national culture. But how well do we know our own cultural imprint? Are we aware of our limiting beliefs about ourselves and others?
In this workshop, you will:
-
Learn how culture and your own blind spots towards yourself and others are created and how they affect you and others in your professional life.
-
You will learn about the brain science behind unconscious biases regarding recruiting, promotion and everyday workplace interactions and how they limit the strategic and innovation potential that can be created through a diverse workforce.
-
You will see how self-leadership and mindfulness can promote your intercultural competence and in turn unlock the real value of your diversity strategy.
Who is it for:
-
HR professionals
-
CSR & Sustainability Managers
-
Communications professionals
-
Decision makers etc.
